Designing a Tapestry – My Way, but your path
How to Design a Tapestry
One of the things that I hear constantly when people want to weave tapestry is this self-destructive complaint – I can’t draw or I can’t design, therefore I would love to do tapestry, but I can’t. Over the years and 57 tapestries later, with awards, I have created a method for designing tapestry. This method allows anyone to put together a tapestry design – even those who say they cannot draw. It is based on collage, found images and photos and journaling – one small step at a time. Making the images work together, creating a path to follow, allows me to design uniquely vibrant tapestries. This one-on-one tapestry weaving class is designed to help you create your own path to make your own unique tapestry designs.
This class consists of four spaced out (typically weekly) zoom classes of 2 hours each. Every class will be one-on-one with Kathe Todd-Hooker.
