This is a great tool that I designed a few years ago when teaching students with hand issues and strength problems. The needle is bend in such away that it can be used to pick the shed and lever the sheds open. It can also be turned in the hand to open sheds. There is an eve that the weft can be threaded through and then pulled through either an open shed or no shed. The needle is made of laminated hard woods with a permanent bend. It is extremely flexible and easy to use. cost 15.00
