Kathe’s Weighted Fork beater

Dinner Forks were originally used in Scandinavian tapestry weaving. We started using forks without weights and then moved on to tying and gluing weights to forks with some rather Catastrophic events occurring. In the 90’s I discovered that one could drill a whole in a fork and use a nut and bolt with washers and no more catastrophic failures.  The weight is adjustable by adding or subtracting washers. Handle shapes can be chosen for comfort. Meant to be used as a beater not a comb.  We also do special orders if you have a particular design, pattern or silver piece that you would like. small 12.00 and large  15.00 for special orders.
