Mini -Doffer (Strauch)

This wonderful little tool is terrific for roughening up pieces of pre-felt or even hard felt so that you can get enough fiber to attach the pre-felt to the fiber base you are trying to felt it to. It has a wood base and is about 1 inch x 2 inches. There are 128 teeth /square inch. (Very sharp, watch your fingers!) People also use the mini-doffer as a small flicker to help blend fiber and color mixes. It can clean out your Velcro and even the teeth of your carders. I am told that some people even use it as a tree ornament. (Pat Spark) $8.00 plus shipping and handling.

Bulb Sprinklers (Ballbrausers) bulb sprinklerThese water spinklers are really great for adding water gently to your fiver layout. I especially like them for adding water to a highly textured surface, where I have several levels of fibers and decorative elements because the water doesn’t flatten the textures before I start the feltmaking process. I have started using two of these at a time. this way when I am squeezing out one of the sprinklers, the other one is filling up with water from my bucket. Pretty cool! (Pat Spark) $25.00 plus shipping and handling.
